Based in Katwijk, I strengthen established HR departments within larger organisations in the Leiden area and across the wider Randstad, from administration and payroll input to processes, systems and temporary HR capacity.
How I can help
During absence, peak workloads or projects, I step in quickly. I get up to speed with your processes and systems and make sure day-to-day HR operations keep running, with brief coordination where needed.
From onboarding, offboarding, contracts and leave to absence administration and tracking actions and deadlines under the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter). I also prepare, check and coordinate payroll input with the payroll provider.
Clear processes, practical templates and documentation that is not only correct, but actually used.
Clearly scoped support with setting up and improving HR systems, creating logical workflows, reliable data and less manual work.
Even when an HR team member has already left and a full handover is unavailable, I find my way independently. I keep day-to-day HR operations running and bring calm and structure to the HR operation.

About me
As a freelance HR professional, I create clarity across HR administration, payroll input, processes and systems. I feel at home where people, processes and systems meet.
My style is personal and down-to-earth. I work best within an established HR structure, with clear responsibilities and colleagues to coordinate with. Even without a full handover, I find my way independently. I keep operations running and improve what can be made more practical within the existing framework, for example through clear templates, processes and ways of working.
Outside work, I am curious and enjoy being on the move. I read a lot and love getting on my motorcycle, preferably for a long journey. That combination of independence, good preparation and adapting along the way also reflects how I work.
